How Avrora protects its users

A marketplace only works when both sides feel safe. Avrora combines verification, transparency and human moderation to prevent abuse.

Reviews are public and permanent

Every completed job ends with a mutual review. Reviews can’t be removed by the parties involved — only by admins in clear policy violations. Your rating directly determines how often you’re found.

Email and phone verification

Every user confirms their email at registration. Phone verification via SMS is optional but earns you a ‘verified’ badge, which improves trust.

Messages go through the platform

All communication between client and tasker happens in Avrora chat. Our moderation filter detects suspicious behaviour (scams, abusive language) and automatic logging protects both parties.

Dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, you can open a dispute. An admin reviews it manually within 48 hours, asks both sides for evidence (chat history, photos, invoice) and reaches a reasoned decision.

KVK verification for professionals

Taskers can add their KVK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) number for extra credibility. A KVK badge tells clients they’re working with a registered business.

Important to know

  • Never pay in full upfront without a clear written agreement in chat.
  • Keep all communication inside Avrora — outside the platform our protection no longer applies.
  • Report suspicious behaviour through the ‘Report’ button on any profile.
